Marcus Junius Brutus (85 BC � 42 BC, Quintus Servilius Caepio Brutus), was a Roman senator, famous for being a central figure in the assassination of Julius Caesar. He was a descendant of Junius Brutus, founder of Rome, and was a nephew of Cato the Younger.
