| Photos 1 and 2, from the Ara
Pacis Museum in Rome, show a cast of a portrait of Agrippa from the
Louvre. Photo 3 (Museo Capitolino Montemartini, inv. 2760) is a head of
Agrippa found in a 1937 excavation on the Via del Mare. The similarity
between the two heads may seem small until you compare the coiffures,
which are absolutely identical from ear to ear. |
